The 2009 KY PROUD IncrEDIBLE Food Show experience for Lovers Leap Vineyards and Winery was tremendously positive. We pride ourselves on trying to take part in every food show or tasting event in the state. Over the year, we have had thousands of people sample our wine and products, but never have we had the number so concentrated and so interested in the product and its process.

What pleased us the most was the tremendous exposure that we had with the public. The end results were more knowledgeable people, more sales through our retail outlets and more recognition that Kentucky wine is a viable product worthy of even the most discriminating consumer.

Working with the Kentucky Proud Organization and Lexington Center provided me with the opportunity to network, meet many fellow Kentucky Proud members, not to mention the fantastic crowd pulling from surrounding states. The event is 1st class and should be taken seriously for your "mom and pop" business in my opinion. Personally, I was proud of Kentucky Proud.

Our experience at the Incredible Food Show was fantastic from start to finish! The folks at the Lexington Center are accommodating and easy to work with, and made planning our portion of the event enjoyable and uncomplicated. The event itself was amazing – turnout was terrific, the selection of vendors wide and varied, and the events that went on throughout the show were not only fun and interesting, but a big draw to attendees. The Bobby Flay presentation, in particular, was stellar! Our revenues for the event were more than satisfactory, and we are thrilled to be part of the line up for the 2010 event!

The Incredible Food Show gave us tremendous exposure. As a new artisan cheese making company in Kentucky, we were able to network, and meet directly with our targeted customers and businesses. Additionally, we had the chance to speak with many new, as well as experienced chefs. The feedback we obtained from them gave us great new marketing, and product ideas. For our company, the show added tremendous value. If you are serious about developing your business, and have a good gourmet product that needs exposure, the show will get you in-front of the decision makers you need. Even though you can sell products at the show, that is secondary to opportunities you can uncover. We can't wait to see everyone again in 2010.
